CORT, the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and transition services, announced the promotion of Jeff Rowe to Executive Vice President of Residential Sales.  In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for leading our nationwide residential sales team across customer verticals such as Multi-Family Housing, Insurance Housing, and Student Housing.

“Jeff is a proven leader with experience across a wide spectrum of our customers and the services we provide them, he has played a pivotal role in CORT’s growth strategy said CORT Chief Operating Officer, Mike Davis. “There are few people who know the industry, as well as Jeff, does, and I look forward to him leading our residential sales team and driving growth by continuing to focus on our customers to better understand their current and future needs.”

Rowe joined the company in 1987 as a CORT Workplace sales representative, during Jeff’s tenure he has been instrumental in forming and leading many of our customer segments.  His areas of focus have included, CORT Destination Services, Insurance Housing, Multi-Family Housing, Property Technology, and CORT’s entry into the short-term rental business through partnerships with companies providing accommodation services in the marketplace.

He is passionate about the application of technology to enhance the overall customer experience while providing the tools they need to solve their prospective client’s needs. Rowe has made it his mission to make furnishing any environment a seamless part of the rental process.

“Even prior to the pandemic, CORT anticipated the shift in the way renters search for and acquire their next living space,” explained Rowe. “It has transitioned from a largely in-person process to almost 100% online. For years, my team has been working tirelessly to provide compelling offerings to our diverse customer segments.  This has helped customers such as property managers introduce the concept digitally to prospective residents that any unit can be furnished, not just when they are on-site at a property. This is something we now refer to as ‘Furniture as an Amenity.”
