CORT Furnishes Veteran’s Home on Designing Spaces® Airing on Lifetime®

With Veterans Day approaching, we are reminded of the sacrifice that our nation’s military and their families make for our country. Although Veterans Day only occurs once a year, it’s important to support our country’s servicemen and women year-round.

Supporting the military is one of CORT’s most important missions. We are proud to have recently helped an Orlando, Florida, veteran and his family get the home of their dreams on the Military Makeover edition of Designing Spaces on Lifetime®.

Army veteran, Tommy Travis, and his family were living in a cramped apartment in Orlando and were in desperate need of a new house. Designing Spaces and CORT were honored to have the opportunity to provide the Travis family a fully furnished, three-bedroom home! CORT provided sofas, beds, wall décor, accessories and lighting for the veteran’s home. Watch the Travis family episodes on MilitaryMakeover.com!

“There are so many veterans who made great sacrifices to protect our country, but still need assistance. We are excited and honored for the opportunity to provide our services as the Travis family transitions into their new home,” said Lisa Woodworth, VP of marketing, CORT.

CORT’s corporate partner, the Folds of Honor Foundation, was also present during filming. Represented by Major Ed Pulido, the Folds of Honor Foundation presented a scholarship to the Travis family during the episode.

Our military members and their families sacrifice so much to protect our country. Don’t forget to say thanks this Veterans Day.
