Paula Newell Promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations

CORT, the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and transition services, has announced the promotion of Paula Newell to Executive Vice President of Operations, overseeing all CORT Furniture Rental (CFR) field operations across the country.

“Paula has provided exceptional leadership during her career at CORT and I have no doubt this will continue in her new role,” said CORT Chief Operating Officer, Mike Davis. “Paula’s experience in both sales and operations prepares her well for this promotion, her knowledge and focus on providing exceptional service will continue to be of great value to our customers and team as we plan the future growth of our business.”

Paula began her career with CORT in 1998 through the Manager in Training program as the Assistant District General Manager in Los Angeles. After moving to the role of District General Manager in 2000 and Area Manager in 2004, Paula was promoted to Vice President of Sales in Service Center IV in 2009. She relocated to the corporate office from the West Coast in 2012 as Vice President of National Accounts responsible for the Strategic Business Development and One Point National sales teams, as well as the National Client Services team. In 2016, Paula was promoted to Executive Vice President for the East, responsible for both sales and operations.
