CORT announced the grand opening of its brand new furniture rental showroom in Chicago, Ill. The 6,400-square-foot showroom, located at 540 North Lakeshore Drive, features an open, urban loft design using materials such as stamped concrete, brick and exposed beams and ductwork to offer a more contemporary and customer-friendly shopping environment.
“We are excited to offer a fresh, new furniture rental experience to our customers in Chicago,” said Mike Jenkins, area vice president for CORT. “From the moment our customers walk through the door they will be greeted with an open, contemporary and interactive environment where they will experience the excellent customer service they have come to expect from CORT.”
Located just a few blocks from its previous showroom, the new showroom features a one-story layout, allowing for more space to showcase complete product packages that include furniture, upholstery, lighting, accent pieces and housewares. In addition to a wider variety of products that customers are able to touch and feel before making a rental decision, the check out process is made easier by using iPad technology at closing stations throughout the showroom.
“By incorporating innovative technology in the new showroom, our customers can select the products they desire in a quicker, more streamlined rental process,” added Mike.
