One of the top trends for 2015 is mid-century inspired furnishings that reference iconic designs, shapes and modernism first popularized in the 1950s and 1960s. This trend has been brought on by an atmosphere of nostalgia for recognizable contemporary cultural touchstones.

CORT has introduced many new collections to help event planners incorporate this trend into their designs including the Draper collection, Xander sofa, La Brea Chair, Swanson Chair and the Madden Chair. Reflecting the glamour of the film industry, Hollywood regency is another popular event design trend for 2015. Incorporating modern furniture and neoclassical pieces with a vintage flair, this trend is heavily influenced by the glitz and glamour of old Hollywood. Event planners can create this stylish look by using furniture that is simple and smaller in scale in conjunction with theatrical, lavish colors, fabrics and textiles.
