How Does CORT Billing Work?

Whether you are moving across town to a new home or relocating overseas because of a new job, rental furniture can be the easiest, most efficient, and most cost-effective way to furnish your new home.  When you rent with CORT, billing is not a hassle.  That’s why we want to answer some questions you might have about the CORT billing process.  Here are a few of the ways we help you rent your furniture easily and conveniently.

Can I Rent Online?

When you have added a furniture piece, full room, or individual  pieces to your cart, you are ready to check out.  While you are welcome to visit the nearest CORT showroom , it is possible to finalize your order completely online.

Can I Pay Online?

Online, CORT accepts US issued credit cards from American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, JCB, and Diner’s Club.  At this time, CORT does not accept debit cards, pre-paid cards, or non-US issued credit cards when paying online.  All customers paying online are enrolled conveniently in CORT’s auto pay process.

Can I Pay In-Store?

Yes you can!  When paying for your rental furniture in-store, you can use a credit card from American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, JCB, or Diner’s Club.  You can also pay in-store using a debit card, cash, or a check.  However, CORT billing may require a security deposit and/or a credit check if paying with a debit card, cash, or check.

Is My CORT Billing Information Safe?

When you enter your CORT billing information, you can be sure that it is protected from third parties all the way through the ordering process.  CORT has secure servers that use advanced encryption and firewall technology dedicated to protecting your information.  Additionally, CORT billing never stores your credit card information on our servers.

Are There Delivery Fees?

CORT is happy to deliver your new furniture to your home!  You can arrange for this service when you check out.  By entering your delivery address when you check out, you can calculate your delivery fee, which will depend on your area and time frame.  This service includes delivery, setup, installation, and pick-up of the furniture, and typically can be scheduled within 48 business hours of your order’s completion.  If you need to arrange for a faster delivery, you can do so at an additional cost by contacting your local CORT showroom.
