One positive in 2020 was the interest and willingness of many people connecting and conversing, who may never have had that opportunity in the past. The challenges we experienced together seemed to soften our hearts and remove the labels and silos of a vendor, end-user, occupier, competitor, or buyer. In the midst of all of this, I met Vik Aggarwal and my colleague Greg Copeland and I enjoyed several conversations with him.
We explored highlights from his journey through finance, corporate global real estate to a “start-up” with Knotel, and now as a consultant at his firm Flexibli. And, of course, his perspective on commercial real estate, where we are now, and thoughts on the future.
