Lloyd Lenson promoted to Vice Chairman, Mike Davis to Chief Operating Officer
CORT, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, today announces that company leaders Lloyd Lenson and Mike Davis have been promoted. Lenson, who previously served as chief operating officer, will now serve as vice chairman of CORT. Davis, previously executive vice president, is promoted to chief operating officer.
Davis’ new appointment includes responsibility and oversight for company operations, including the CORT Furniture Rental and Trade Show & Events businesses. A nearly 20-year CORT veteran, Davis served as executive vice president for two years and group vice president for eight years.
In Lenson’s new role, he will work closely with CORT’s CEO on long-term, strategic goals for the organization. In addition, he has executive oversight of CORT’s merchandise, asset management and real estate departments and is the executive in charge of the Roomservice by CORT business in the UK, the Housewares Division and the Party Rental business. A 38-year CORT veteran, Lenson has held numerous roles at the company and served as chief operating officer for more than 15 years.
