CORT Designs Are a Hole in One at Phoenix Open

The Phoenix Open is one of the largest sporting events in the country and draws hundreds of thousands of guests each year. Held this year from January 29 to February 4, the event at TPC Scottsdale-Champions Course in Scottsdale, Arizona, required a herculean effort. There were various staging areas—including VIP and sponsor spaces—that CORT Events designed and coordinated. More than 12 trailer trucks helped bring the massive event to life, delivering over 8,000 individual pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories.

But all that hard work paid off. CORT again wowed attendees for the fourth consecutive year, delivering quality and stylish furnishings.

The CORT Events team drew inspiration for the designs from yacht clubs, the farm chic trend, and the Arizona desert. Each design theme was used to create chic and relaxing spaces that transformed the golf course into a party oasis. The result was an amazing overall ambience, both on the fairway and in the temporary tent structures. VIP areas designed by CORT included the Greenspace, the Bay Club and the NBC Golf Channel Broadcast Stage.

The CORT Events team was excited to incorporate some of 2018’s hottest trends through event design décor at the Phoenix Open. Gray seating, muted earth tones, greenery, and eclectic yet chic designs reinforced the themes. The surprising mix of natural woods, textured fabrics and desert inspired colors and patterns made this tournament a hole in one!
