Last month, the CORT Austin team attended, sponsored and exhibited furniture at the Texas Conference on Ending Homelessness in Austin, Texas. The annual conference is presented by Texas Homeless Network and focuses on strategically building systems that will make homelessness a rare and non-recurring event.
Apart from attending meetings and sessions, the more than 600 conference attendees had the opportunity to browse CORT’s furniture selection and meet Dan Watkins, CORT Austin District Manager and Drew Leonovich, CORT Austin Assistant District Manager.
Todd Shell, regional manager of Supportive Housing and Facilities at CORT, personally volunteers with the organization and was recently sworn in as Chairman of the Board during this year’s annual conference.
“Improving homeless services in Texas communities benefits the entire state,” said Shell. “I’m proud to play a role in the mission to end homelessness in Texas.”
Thank you to Todd and the CORT Austin community for all that you do to support this great cause.
