Last month, CORT’s Texas division participated in DISH Las Colinas, an annual event hosted by AMLI Residential, one of the preeminent multifamily companies in the nation focused on the development, acquisition and management of luxury apartment communities across the United States. The event featured food and drinks from some very popular local establishments, as well as a silent and live auction all to raise funds for the North Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition every 38 minutes.
AMLI Residential’s goal for DISH Las Colinas was to raise $15,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which is the cost to grant a wish for one child and more. CORT was proud to donate $2,500 worth of furniture to their business partner, which included 20 dining tables, 80 chairs, 12 inflatable sofas and 12 lighted ottomans from CORT Trade Show and Events, all for guests to sit back, relax and have a good time while raising money for a good cause!
This year’s event proved to be a huge success with over 250 people in attendance, and AMLI Residential was able to exceed its fundraising goal by raising over $16,000. CORT is proud of its participation and the efforts made by the community to grant a child their wish.
