This month, CORT hosted the first Charlotte Chamber Business After Hours event of the new year. The event offered attendees the opportunity to network with area business professionals in a casual atmosphere. Guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres, provided by Dean & DeLuca.
The near 200 guests in attendance included employees from the hospitality, banking, real estate, marketing, media, communications, sales, automotive, insurance, construction and recruiting industries, to name just a few. The full list of guests who registered for the event can be found here.
The Charlotte Chamber is a membership, volunteer-led organization with a vision to make Charlotte the best place to run a business and to live. Their mission is to create a competitive advantage by growing the economy, advocating pro-business public policies, and delivering innovative programs and services.
“It was truly an honor hosting the first Charlotte Chamber Business After Hours event of the new year,” said Jarrod Clay, territory sales manager, CORT. “We were able to provide a first-hand look at our offerings to local business professionals who may have previously been unaware of the products and services CORT provides.”
The CORT rental showroom and clearance center in the Charlotte community offers customers a one-stop shop for unique, affordable furniture and accessories for the home or office. The showroom is still fairly new, opening in fall of 2016, next to the previous location on South Boulevard. This location solidifies CORT’s growing focus on the Charlotte market and offers better service to local customers with more space to showcase their selection and a refreshment station so guests can make themselves at home while they shop.
