From attending community events to promoting local sustainability efforts to supporting environmental education through legislation, more than 1 billion people participate in Earth Day activities each year.
Since 2012, CORT has been a partner and supporter of The Folds of Honor Foundation (FHF) by helping them in their mission to provide educational scholarships to dependents and spouses of fallen or severely injured soldiers across the United States.
Tonya Carter, Senior Group HR manager at CORT, is a 1989 graduate of the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point. She graduated as a Second Lieutenant, and chose the Corps of Engineers branch. As an 11-year veteran, Tonya served our country domestically and internationally.

CORT’s District General Manager (DGM) Brandon Carta may have departed the military many years ago but, according to him, it is and will continue to be a big part of who he is as a person and business leader.
Brandon had his first calling to join the military during the US and Iraq conflict known as “Desert Storm.” However, he also admired his late grandfather for his service in the U.S. Army during World War II and has always considered him his biggest hero.
