The Houston community can now enjoy a one-stop shop for unique and affordable furniture and accessories at CORT’s newly renovated Houston CORT clearance center. CORT recently celebrated the grand reopening of one of its Houston locations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. The brick-and-mortar location emphasizes CORT’s growing focus on the Houston market and dedication to local customers.
The renovated clearance center includes an increased product selection that features CORT’s upscale Premium and Signature Line furnishings. Attendees of the grand reopening event received 20 percent off their purchases, a chance to win prizes including an iPad and a variety of refreshments. During the evening, CORT invited their key customers to experience the new showroom design and indulge in wine and cheese.
The grand reopening celebration took place during the week of Veterans Day. As a proud sponsor of the Folds of Honor Foundation and a longtime supporter of the military, the CORT Houston team honored the holiday by inviting retired U.S. Army Sgt. Derek Kolb to cut the ribbon along with CORT representatives. Kolb, who served in the Iraq War, was severely injured by an improvised explosive device and required 29 surgeries to reconstruct his leg. CORT met Kolb at the annual Camp Hope benefit barbecue to sponsor the transitional housing facility benefiting veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Those who live in or plan to visit the Houston area are invited to stop in and check out all CORT’s remodeled clearance center has to offer!
