We started our #ShouldaCalledCORT sweepstakes in July, offering one lucky student and a friend of their choice a chance to win a trip to the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas. To enter, students could take a picture and share on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram why they #ShouldaCalledCORT. We had a ton of clever entries and we want to thank all the students who took the time to enter our sweepstakes. At the end of September, we picked Alex L. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Alex came across CORT’s sweepstakes on Facebook and, after moving four times in the past four years while in college, she could relate to #ShouldaCalledCORT. She decided to enter the contest by tweeting funny pictures while moving back to college this fall.
We flew Alex and a friend to Austin, Texas, put them in the Hilton on Sixth Street and met up with them to hand off their ACL Music Festival wristbands. They were most looking forward to seeing Phantogram and Chvrches at the festival. You can check out our Facebook page for more pictures of Alex at the festival.
