You take a picture, but is it “Instagrammable?” In other words: is the photo aesthetically pleasing and worth sharing with followers? This is a question Sacramento-based blogger Melissa Johnson asks herself frequently as the creator of Best Friends for Frosting, a lifestyle blog filled with what she describes as “everything that makes me happy!”
Recently, Melissa has been longing to take her brand to the next level and give people a tangible experience. With help from CORT, Melissa unveiled the #SOBestFriendsForFrosting Airbnb, a two-bedroom oasis bathed in her trademark style nestled in the Land Park area of Sacramento. Melissa hopes to deliver a “real life experience” and make the house a destination for baby showers, parties and more, all with the “Instagrammable” aesthetic of the Best Friends For Frosting brand.
“People often feel picking out furniture is a daunting task, but CORT Furniture makes it so easy,” said Melissa of her decorating experience. “They had the exact style and aesthetic of the products that I needed, the right colors and quality – it was a win-win!”
Once she selected her color palette – soft pink, gray and white tones with subtle blue accents – CORT guided Melissa through its extensive selection of furniture and décor to achieve her cozy chic look. The Greyson sofa was the perfect complement to the statement fireplace, and the Kinsley nightstand, Blanca accent chair and Lacasse bookcase turned the bedrooms into plush, comfy hideaways.
