CORT Events, the nation’s leading furniture, lighting and accessories rental company, announces the hire of Felisha Cook as a district account executive in the north Florida district.
This strategic hire enables CORT to grow in the north Florida district as Cook assists area event professionals with their meeting and event furnishing needs. Cook joins CORT from Staples, where she served as a business development consultant and grew the Staples business in the greater Jacksonsville area. Cook also has eight years of experience in the events and hospitality industry.
“We’re excited to have a strategic, relationship oriented accounted executive to grow the north Florida territory,” said Steve Peck, national director of sales for CORT. “Felisha’s experience and passion will serve as a catalyst for growth in this district.”
Cook’s role will focus on assisting area event professionals with their meeting and event furnishing needs. She will also be responsible for growing existing accounts as well as cultivating new business in north Florida.
Cook has a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University where she studied entrepreneurship.
