Trends at the IFMA World Workplace Conference

CORT recently had the pleasure of attending the 2015 IFMA World Workplace in Denver, Colorado and connected with customers and other industry leaders to discuss the latest trends in the facility management industry. Here are a few trends the show was abuzz about –

1. Mobile furniture and multi-use pieces

2. Energy efficiency and sustainability

3. Technology aimed at lowering utility costs for facility managers.

One trend we see every year is the need for flexible furnishing solutions like furniture rental. The CORT booth captured the theme “The Right Fit, Right Now,” showcasing the many reasons why furniture rental makes sense for facility managers. It wasn’t all fun and games, but we were able to demonstrate the value of furniture rental through a game of Giant Jenga, in which reasons to rent furniture were printed on giant wooden blocks! And through social media, even those that missed the show were able to get in on the action with the #CORTIFMA2015 hashtag.
Of course, our favorite part of the show is always connecting with customers, potential customers and industry leaders. We were thrilled some customers wanted to sit down and talk about why they chose to partner with CORT.

“As an architectural firm, we have used CORT for over 20 years,” said Rodney Stone, president at Environetics and longtime CORT client. “We always recommend CORT because they deliver on time, they are resourceful and can handle any situation for our clients.”

The annual IFMA World Workplace provides a great opportunity every year for CORT to connect with the industry. We’re excited to continue being a part of this great industry while helping facility managers alleviate challenges through flexible management of furniture inventory, business continuity planning and support for a mobile workforce and flexible offices.

Thank you, IFMA, for putting together another great event!
