In honor of Veterans Day, CORT is celebrating its long-standing partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation by inviting you to join them in support of our military families.
CORT has been a partner of the Folds of Honor, a national organization that provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of fallen or severely disabled military service men and women, since 2012. Did you know that more than 87 percent of military dependents do not qualify for federal scholarship assistance? While the federal government provides some support for these families, proactive civilian organizations need to assist them as well. The Folds of Honor Foundation was established to help provide educational scholarships to the 87 percent.
Since Folds of Honor was established in 2007, they have awarded educational scholarships used to subsidize the costs of tuition, school books, fees, on-campus room and board, approved educational tutoring, and other approved educational expenses that a student’s school may deem appropriate.
Interested in supporting Folds of Honor’s mission? There are many ways you can get involved and give the gift of education to our military families. Whether you’re interested in participating in a race, hosting a corporate challenge, organizing a bake sale, fundraising on behalf of a loved one, or inviting friends and family to donate in lieu of accepting gifts this holiday season, there are so many ways to help raise funds for the Folds of Honor scholarship program!
This Veterans Day, we say THANK YOU to all veterans and families of veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
