CORT Scores Big with Professional Sports Team Partnerships Nationwide

CORT is proud to announce recent partnerships with professional sports teams across the nation to create unique promotional opportunities and exciting experiences for CORT employees, veterans and customers.

In Seattle, the CORT team recently completed a $16,000 trade deal with the Seattle Storm for a second year. The Seattle Storm are a professional women’s basketball team based in Seattle, Washington, currently ranked second in their conference. CORT provided furnishings for 10 athlete housing units throughout the season in exchange for 20 tickets to a regular season game and TV-visible courtside and basket stanchion LED during all regular season games.

On the East Coast, the CORT team in Jacksonville inked a new deal with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, a minor league baseball team and the class Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins Major League Baseball (MLB) team. In exchange for promotion in the Jumbo Shrimp programs and over the PA system every game throughout the season, CORT will provide furnishings for the team’s club house, including three sofas, two TVs, a desk and three office chairs. In addition, the CORT Jacksonville team will be featured during the military appreciation game in August, with one lucky employee throwing the first pitch.

Moving north, CORT expanded its partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), headquartered in Washington, D.C. For the last seven years, CORT has been the official furniture provider for the Washington Mystics, a WNBA team owned by MSE, and will now also partner with MSE’s two newest Arena Football League teams – the Washington Valor and the Baltimore Brigade. CORT outfitted 68 athlete apartments this season. In exchange, CORT receives premiere brand recognition with on-field logo exposure, the opportunity for a CORT employee to present the game ball at each home game and access to a suite at the Verizon Center for two events, The Harlem Globetrotters and the circus.

These sports partnerships have been a touch down for the CORT community and we look forward to many great seasons ahead!
