CORT Gives Thanks During Small Business Week

Every year since 1963, the President has issued a proclamation declaring Small Business Week. During this observance, the U.S. Small Business Administration highlights the impact of outstanding entrepreneurs and small business owners in all 50 states and U.S. territories.As Small Business Week kicks off today, CORT gives special thanks to small business owners and entrepreneurs for their contribution to our nation’s economy.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and two out of every three jobs created are by small businesses. With this many people dependent on small businesses, it is important to support and value those who are working to drive innovation and increase America’s global competitiveness.

Thank you, small business owners, for the hard work and long hours you put in to keeping our economy thriving. We appreciate what you do every day to keep the economy growing. Running your own business is no easy task – it involves hard work, perseverance, late nights and early mornings, but your impact on this country is invaluable.
