Veterans Come Together to Honor Fallen Military, Raise Money for Navy Seal Charity
Military veteran and CORT’s Group VP of Operations Rick Walker was recently part of a very special pre-screening of the hit movie, “American Sniper,” the story of U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. The pre-screening event was hosted by The Warfighter Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Rick’s son Spencer.
Tomorrow is Veterans Day, an important time for all of us to honor and pay tribute to those who bravely served in the United States Armed Forces. In addition, today marks the 239th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, which was founded at Tun Tavern in Philadelphia on Nov. 10, 1775.
